Our elders, a rapidly growing portion of our population, are quietly struggling with the impact of isolation as they lose independence and strive to remain in their homes for the duration of their lives. They will tell you: Meals on Wheels changed our lives—the meals keep us healthy but the daily visit and social connection is life sustaining.

Council on Aging provides 14 programs in the areas of Social, Financial and Health, but our greatest need of support is for our Nutrition Programs, including Meals on Wheels.

Each year Council on Aging counts on fundraising events to supply the necessary funds to continue to feed and care for the seniors in our community. Success depends on the generosity of businesses, organizations and individuals like you to donate, sponsor and participate.

We are very excited about this year’s fundraising event, Heels4Meals, a Fashion Show & Luncheon that will feature both live and silent auctions, and we would like you to consider making a difference in the lives of seniors in our community by participating.
